SERVICE SCHEDULE

All Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Services will be held at the Chabad Jewish Center located at
1370 Crowley Ave. SE Salem, OR 97302
 
Our communty's health and safety is our priority, we are therefore offering multiple ways one can partake in the High Holiday Experience.
 
- Order the High Holiday Experience! Everything you need to make the High Holidays special and meaningful from the comfort of your own home. 
- Join us for Shofar in the Park on Sunday, September 20th at 5:00pm. We will gather in a large open space, everyone should wear a mask and we will hear the Shofar. Hearing the Shofar is the most important Mitzvah on Rosh Hashanah. This will take place at Woodmansee Park.
- Join us for our in-person Holiday Services. Please see the guidelines for that below. 
 
With regards to our in-person services, the following guidelines have been put in place:

a) All services will take place outside, in a large tent.
b) All seats will be set up with social distancing. Families will be allowed to sit together.
c) Everyone attending services will be required to wear a mask. If you don't have one or foget one we have maks available for you. 
d) When someone is called to the Bima, anyone standing near the Bima will step away at least 6 feet.
e) If any food is served it will be prepackaged and expected to be eaten at the socially distant placed seats. 
e) If you come down with a cold, headache or any other signs of an illness, DO NOT show up. Please stay home.
d) To attend our in-person services you must register ahead of time so that we can make sure there is snough space for everyone. 
e) Services will be shorter then our usual High Holiday experiences, to minimize the amount of time spend in a group. Each services will be no longer than 2 hours.
